recovery

I recently deleted a giant folder (hint: a, _ , c,d...z) by accident (shift+delete is so great, yet so dangerous when it's a reflex). super recently, haven't written anything to that drive since or really used it for that matter.  how do i recovered data?
i usually use a Helix boot cd for wiping drives, i heard i can use it to recover data maybe?
preferably something free/torrentable that isn't too huge.

thanks in advance.

GetDataBack for NTFS is a god.

I actually paid $80 for it, like a sucker. But yea it totally beat any other program I tried, including Restoration.

Also, may want to try Recuva if you looking for totally free program.

Don't change these.
