Windows XP's behavior makes any changes to screen resolution global, meaning that if one user changes the screen resolution, this affects all users. This is XP's behavior by design. Is there any freeware that automatically changes the screen resolution whenever a user logs on/off?

Why would users on the same computer want to use different screen resolutions?

I usually have twelve windows open and three windows visible at any given time, so I like using 1680x1050. However, the other people I share this machine with prefer using 1280x800 due to far-sightedness and needing larger text/icons.

It's a pain when you have to do it three times a day. I now have .bat files to auto-change the screen resolution, but I don't know how to auto-execute them with local logon. he;lp?
