D-Link DSL-2540B ADSL Router/Modem

Hey /g/, I'm a failure, I can't figure out how to set up my D-Link DSL-2540B ADSL Router/Modem combo. Neither D-Link, nor my ISP (Verizon) care to help me. D-Link tells me to call my provider, my provider tells me to pay 100 dollars.

Is there anyone who could help me set this up? ;_;

what do you mean the modem was dying?

anyway, if dsl is similar to cable, they have to send a signal to your new modem so that the MAC address is registered with your account. so until you can get them to at least do that, there's not much we can help you with.
