File-sharing Progs

I'm a n00b, flame me.

No, but seriously: looking for some good file sharing programs along the lines of Frostwire or Cabos (spyware-free and easy to use ... meaning no eMule or shit like that -- it's not that I don't know how to correctly configure or use those style programs, I'm just lazy and don't want to find good networks whenever I want a file)

...I should totally flame you, as is the 4chan way, but I'll halp.

Soulseek is the best for music, especially hard to find stuff.

Other than that, just use torrents.

Find some DDL (direct download websites) as well. Rapidshare index's FTW.

is µTorrent still among the best torrent clients, or is there a new one that's all the rave these days -- that deserves checking out?

also OP, eMule isn't spyware
oh and Kazaa is not secure
secure p2p networks are the japanese ones Share/Winny (similar to freenet,but better)
however WASTE-like p2p networks are decent as well
if srsly, i can find a good deal of rare stuff on eMule, but not everything. I only turn to it once in a few months as i can find most of the stuff i need without the need of going p2p

Solution: USE AN OLDER VERSION OF ΜTORRENT AND DO NOT UPGRADE.

That M is the capital letter of μ, so utorrent in all caps is MTORRENT.
