Hey, I just bought a brand new computer today with vista already installed in it from HP. When I set it up though, after I set my account on it, it told me my product key was invalid and I couldn't even get onto the desktop. So I called CompUSA where I bought it, tech guy tells me to ask Microsoft for a new product key, Microsoft shuffles me to HP who tell me to check back with CompUSA. Ugh, so I talk to the manager at CompUSA and get them to take a look at it but now I won't get it back until mid-day tomorrow. Everyone I talked to said they never heard this before. Anyone here know anything about it?

well basically each product key can only be used 10 times I think so if it somehow got leaked before it got to you then well yeah (it verifies online of course)... could be dodgy HP salesmen or w/e... It has been cracked successfully since before its official release snd although it takes a lot of user input to get it working with cracks, it definately does work and without any restrictions, no stupid trial mode etc (done it already..sux tho XP is better for games)... then just dont download the genuine advantage activation update shit and if you replaced the files correctly then it will think its already done (you can even hide unwanted updates so they dont bug you)
