What's exactly wrong with the drives?

Name: Anonymous 2007-03-22 6:08 ID:fEOcQKi0

Recently my hard drives have been acting up. If I set my case upright, then the drives are parallel to the ground, label side up but sometimes aren't detected or eventually crash in Windows. Tilting the case to the left solves this problem. Tilting the case to the right makes the disks never readable. The computer never boots this way. The only thing then is now my CPU fan is upside down, lulz.

tl;dr. What is dying in my HDD's. (they don't do that clicking thing)

Sounds like a friction problem. Try putting a spot of lubricating oil on the central spindle of each drive.
