Speaking of virtual Mem. I have 1gig stick and a 512.
The windows suggested Virtual mem. is 700-1.5gb. Should I change that or at 1.5gb of ram do I even need Virtual Mem?

What you need is another 1GB stick to run in dual channel. After that, no, 1.5GB (nor 2GB) is nowhere near enough e-penis to disable the page file. Make said file about double your physical memory size.
