My computer is having a reboot problem, so far it only happens while playing WoW (I dont play anythinge else, I believe it to be some kind of memory or processing error.) I doubt its something overheating since the computer would just shut down completely instead of just rebooting, it also shows the blue screen of death error screen for a few seconds before booting. I can almost trigger it by alt tabbing in and out of WoW, thats the easiest way to get the problem to surface.
I swapped around my ram stick to check if the problem was with either one of them (had them each run solo, problem still happened, although akwardly enough it was alot harder to trigger the restarts with alt tabbing out of WoW.) So I doubt its faulty ram, ive been also moving around my harddrives as far as which one its running windows off of and which ones are set as primary and slave the problem still persists. Im pretty much runnning out of ideas here. I dont have another working video card to test my current one to see if thats the problem.
The only thing I can think of with my selective knowledge would be that the processor or the motherboard is starting to fuck off. I was thinking of just grabbing a new one since mine are each like 3+ years old or something and wouldnt be hard to upgrade. Ofcourse I found out I have like a 100$ processor and upgrading it would cost more then I want to spend (I dont want to just buy a new one, I want an upgrade since if its not the problem atleast I didnt waste my money)
(I have like 3 hard drives (although I cant make the damn Sata one bootable on its own, it gives some stupid "cant find NTRL" error or something close to that if its in there without the other 2 jacked into the IDE)
The only times it ever restarts on its own so far without WoW running is, sometimes after rebooting from a WoW crash, it will reboot while starting windows up
This problem is getting annoying as hell and I want to fix it, but im completely outa ideas atm so if any of you have any or maybe know someone who might have an idea as to whats going on plz post : D
