Comp turns on, but shows nothing.

My mom's comp died a few days ago, but before it did, it said that "system32/drivers/ntfs.sys" had become corrupt. I'm trying to start it up with a disc to repair that file, but I'm getting no visual (I'm assuming it's just not producing any information for the monitor to display). I guess what I'm trying to get at is, that she has at least 10 gigs of irreplaceable files on the hard drive. What could I do to get them onto another computer? I have an external HD with plenty of room, but with the monitor showing nothing, I can't move the files. Can anybody help? She's really upset about it.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is, you'll have to move in with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air. You have to whistle for a cab and when it comes near the license plate will say fresh FRESH and there'll be dice in the mirror. If anything you could say the cab is rare but yu'll think "Nah forget it... Yo homes to Bel-Air!" You'll pull up to the house about 7 or 8 and yell to cabby "Yo Holmes Smell you later!" Then look at your kingdom your was finally there! Now sit on your throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.

Anonymous was doing okay until the bit about moving the files back. Get the files off first. Put the harddrive back in, reinstall windows (full format), then move them back with an external harddrive or something. Ignore the bullshit about the BIOS and RAM.

He should have deleted System32 while he still had the chance.

You can't run Opera if your computer doesn't work. Sorry :(

That might be true, but you are forgetting the fact that Opera will fix all computer problems.
