Transfer Internet connection Settings

I want to reformat my computer and do a complete reinstall of windows XP (I'm going to use linux on a different comp) since it's just getting worse and worse, but I want to keep my internet settings so that I don't have to re-enter the network set-up after I re-install.

I'm actually calling my ISP now to ask, but I hate calling thm. I've been on hold for at least 40 minutes now, and in that time I've moved from being 7th in line to 5th.

Switch to Opera. It ships with a perfect configuration so there is nothing to setup.
