my mainboad was b0rked and so I bought a new one. But I couldn't uninstall all drivers in Windoze EcksPee, so it won't boot. Not even in the mode where it just uses generic drivers.

I'm running Lunix right now and am too lazy to reinstall it since it always takes several hours.
Anyone got an idea how to repair Windoze, so that I won't need much time and have all my programs still installed?

Linux IS installed. I haven't started Windoze the last few months.
But sometimes I want to play Silent Storm :)

Why not do a repair? Unplug all unnecessary hardware, do it, and proceed as normal.

Or, boot in safe mode (I call bullshit on your saying you can't do this), open device manager, show hidden devices, delete everything you recognize, and reboot into XP normally.

Also, stop spelling Windows like that. What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

Use Gentoo.

Doesn't work. And no, I won't unplug my mainboard

Oh, safe mode doesn't work, too (BSOD just before it finishes, just like the "normal" boot)

In what way does it not work?

the repair itself works, but doesn't change the result: windows won't boot.

Give up, back up what you need and do a clean install. Tracking down drivers can be a pain but it's probably easier than anything else. Besides, if it's just to play silent storm, you shouldn't have to many drivers to find (graphics (easy), sound, network, mouse?) or much stuff to back up.

Don't change these.
