/comp/ don't hate me for asking, but what is the best media player? I'm currently using media player classic but have heard it slows down your pc, and my pc is slowwww.

on a similar note, does anyone else get a problem with WMV's in VLC when you try to scroll? it goes fuzzy for a few seconds.... is there something i can do to make it stop?

TCMP or Zoom Player. VLC is a good allrounder, but sucks ass at softsubs and some formats.

Yes, use the Windows Media Player. VLC uses the ffmpeg wmv-codec.

Media Player Classic gives me a few problems. I use it whenever BSPlayer shits itself, which currently is only with a third of the videos in those Japanese Commercial packs that were torrented ages ago.
