barcodes...etc

For the love of god will someone help me. I can\'t figure it out. My mouse disappears and has a barcode following it. Some icons disappear/turn into barcodes and when I play videos they have orange barcodes surrounding them or red/green boxes. I need help, it\'s so annoying.

Bad video card drivers, or dying video card. Uninstall and reinstall drivers (download the latest ones), turn off any overclocking you might be doing, and if you still have problems, try a different card.

your mouse dissapears? what kind of magic are you using?

OK, so I was considering a dying video card, but nothing about drivers. I did the drivers thing and it fixed it a bit. Like, videos play better and my mouse is visible but still has a barcode around it and some icons are still missing/turned into barcodes. I would take a pic but when I do they disappear while PrintScreen runs. Also at startup when it says \"windows\" and a blue bar runs under it(I run pro, green bar for home) there\'s all these blue pixels around the screen. Wow. I just installed a game and it did a video test and it said there are no useable video modes. Sigh. But my icons have returned after the test. Well, is my video card really dying? If so, someone recommend me 2 good ones to change to(current is ATI Radeon 9700 Pro AGP). Also, stay under $175.

oh yeah...forgot to mention that web pages/pictures \"scroll\"(are wavy when scrolling up/down) now. help :/

omfg, I checked my Hardware Acceleration and it was on Full I put it on none and so far all is well. Finally, well for now. Thanks anyway guys.
