Windows re-install with software RAID

My problem is this, I have a windows install that has become infected with a torjan that I can't remove no matter how hard I try(and I've tried hard). The system that it's in has many hard drives(6 40GB), and because of that I did a software RAID on the drives. Would have done hardware, but I didn't have the money for that.
Anyway, I used the windows built-in software for the software, and now I'm woundering, if I re-install windows, is there someway to recover that RAID, or am I going to have to move everything off the computer before re-installing?

Did you try booting from the XP install disc and seeing if it recognizes the disc at the right size and shit?
