Why do people buy LCD monitors?

What's so fun about massive ghosting, distorting colors depending on what angle you look at the monitor, a single crappy resolution, dead pixels, etc.?

Why don't people just buy excellent CRTs?

By all means, post what is on your mind but do not expect every reply to be meaningful. The beauty of anonymous posting is that people will post everything that is on their minds. This is good because the quality of the discussion is dependant upon the quality of each individual post and not the reputation of the poster. Every post is judged by its own merit and not by the reputation of the poster.
