Law: Everyone must buy Vista

I hear there will be this new law that says everyone who uses Intel or AMD processors must also purchase Windows Vista in order to legally use them even if they aren't gonna install it and opt for, say Linux.  Can anyone link me to where I can find more info on this?

I read somewhere that some dude managed to get a refund on the cost of the XP installation on his Dell computer. Basically he just took a photo of him rejecting the licence agreement and installing Linux. They then refunded the money (like £60 or so) back onto his card.

Maybe all you geeks should actually try this sort of thing rather than just being a whining faggot about it. That way more manufacturers would take Linux/BSD seriously.
