Backup Driver

Ie scrambled up my hard drive enough to where ied like to just re-format it. ive got another hard drive so backing up data is no big deal. and i can just reinstall software as i use it, no big deal. but last time i did this i had tons of trouble with the drivers(particularly my wireless card and sound card). i had no sound for about 2 weeks and it got pretty annoying. i forgot what i finally did to get it working so i figured it would be easier if i could just backup all my drivers and re-implement them when i get my OS running again. can i do this?

I'm not sure if you mean you're reinstalling from an OEM install disk? (Gateway,HP, Dell etc.)
It might be easier if I explain how I reinstall my non-OEM homebuilt boxes. I keep driver backups on other drives, other networked boxes and CD/DVD's. When I do a clean install I go to Device Manager in Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager. I right click the device, select propertie, driver, update driver. After letting Windows search (fruitlessly) for the driver I browse to where I have the driver and click on the inf file specific to the OS.
   Works every time, that help?

Don't change these.
