annoying problem

I have had this problem with my computer for some time already. Sometimes the computer powers off suddenly. It does not shut down. The power just cuts off all of a sudden. I think the problem is caused by the power supply, but I am not sure. I need to know exactly what is causing this problem since I dont want to buy replacement parts for nothing.

are ya burning CDs? or doing something that requires lots of CPU power? lots of USB stuff? It sounds like you are over-using your power supply. it cant hold up, and cuts out. each hard drive, CD drive, usb attachment, etc.. uses power. it all adds up. if it does not do it all the time, make sure you arnt doing something that requires lots of power.

also, check ur dust level inside. prehaps a good dust job to keep your computer clean.

could also be caused from bad wiring in the building. try using a backup power supply if you have one around.

Okay I have a 4gig card that has been admited to be fake from the guy I bought it from. I did get my money back and the guy told me to just keep the card.

I know I can put some stuff on the card, I have before through my PDA since I dont have a card reader. Now I do have access to a reader and I was wondering if I could somehow fix the card to show and use its real capacity.

Does anyone know how I could go about this? I just formated the card through windows, but it cant read the card at all after that. It shows up as the fake size (4gb) and I still have no idea of the real size. Any help would be great.

Have you checked to see if you have Windows installed? I hear people who have Windows installed have lots of problems.

OP here. It seems like the problem is due to the psu overheating. I checked on google and apparently the psu can only operate up to 50 celcius.

So yesterday I decided to be a lazy ass and go to Taco Bell instead of cooking something. BIG MISTAKE. Today, I woke up in horror to find that I was in a small pool of liquid feces, the result of eating low quality processed meat. My dog, who was currently sitting on my bed, seemed to love it. He was slowly but surely licking away at my shit-covered sheets, enjoying every bit of it, all the while making a big mess of himself. He then proceeded to hop off my bed and walked back to another room in the house. He left a disgusting trail along the way. I couldn't do anything about it; getting out of bed to pick up my dog would only make an even bigger mess. I had to think of something quick, for I had to go to work in a few hours. I didn't know what to do, so I just stripped all my clothing, left it on my bed, and ran to the bathroom to take a shower. It took quite a while to get the awful stench off my body. When I had finally finished, to my surprise, my dog had come back at least a few more times to feast upon my waste. He was covered in my brown butter from head to paw. No room was left untouched... The entire floor was coated in shit, in addition to many pieces of white furniture. Well, at least they WERE white. I decided to wash away my worries with a drink and went off to work. I'll clean it up later, I said to myself. It'll all work out okay. No one will no about this. Oh, how wrong I was. Apperantly, the scent was so god awful that my neighbors could smell it too, and they called in a sanitation crew who cleaned it all up. By this time, everyone in the neighborhood had heard of this. I was so embarassed. Ah, shit.

Don't change these.
