"Add Hardware" problem

I just recently reformatted my computer back to factory settings using the disc the computer came it with (A eMachine with WinXP HomeEd pre-installed SP2). But now trying to install anything I use to use (Such as an Eyetoy or a Logitech Optical mouse or eMachine approved speakers) on the computer results in the Add Hardware Wizard telling me the data is invalid (then a toltip message telling me "there was a problem installing your driver and it may not work properly" when I have installed it before I formatted the computer using the disc. Now with formatting was a problem that occurred that screwed up Add Hardware Wizard, and is there a way to fix it?

... You misread what I wrote completely. I downloaded previously usable drivers to use with Add Hardware Wizard but it won't install it because AHW determines it as faulty data. Even if I know the data is correct.
