OK. I want to add some memory to my home PC. These are the specs as of now:
Processor: AMD Sempron 2400+ 1.7 GHz
Memory: 256MB RAM (333 MHz)
Motherboard: SiS 741 (North) 964L (South)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
Now I'm not sure what size of ram I should get. I want to get at least 1GB, but a friend of mine said older machines have a maximum capacity limit on memory of 512MB.
Would I be able to get 1GB, or could I only go as high as 512MB?
Thanks in advance.
