how do i file transfered?

I got a new computer and just want to transfer my files w/o messing w/ CDrs and junk...
any way I can do it with just an ethernet or usb cable? I need, like some intuitive ftp softwrez, I wanna drag + drop this shit.

This is frustrating. I HAVE USB, ETHERNET, FIREWIRE cables, can't I just fucking transfer my files????
