how do i file transfered?

I got a new computer and just want to transfer my files w/o messing w/ CDrs and junk...
any way I can do it with just an ethernet or usb cable? I need, like some intuitive ftp softwrez, I wanna drag + drop this shit.

Just plug the new computer into the router, make a shared folder on the old one, and transfer the files.

...you...DO...have a router, right?  If not, GET ONE and reinstall your OSes immediately, because you've got AIDS.  (Seriously)
