Firefox decided to screw me over and delete my bookmarks, configrations, and some extensions. Wonder if I can get everything back as it was or not.
And no, Im not switching to opera.

Sure it hasnt just started randomly using a new profile?
Anyway, find your old profile directory somewhere under Documents and Settings/Application Data and there should be a backup of your bookmarks, doubtful on the rest.

How do I reload everything from the backup profile?
Its not shutting down. You cant transfer stuff to a new laptop. Ive lost all my stuff too. Its a load of crap .im going back to explorer after years with firefox
What is Failfox? I see references to this name but I have no understanding of what it is.

To restore bookmarks go to the Bookmarks tab -> Organize Bookmarks --> Choose restore from the import and backup tab and select the latest date before they were gone
As for the extension, just go to firefox website and look for the ones you had previously, and configurations can be done manually again..
