Half a year ago I bought this Buffalo 300Gb external LAN-HD.
A week ago, LAN connection just stopped working.
I had to strip the casing down, and install the HD, which seems to be a standard Samsung model, on my computer.
I dunno what happened to it, but Windows can't recognize it.
It says it's and unformatted HD, and asks if I want to format it.
Thing is, I have like 295Gb of stuff on it, including personal documents that's like some month's work.
Question: What soft do I use to try to recover my HD? I dunno what formatting system it uses... but prolly FAT32 or NTFS I guess.
I know there are some good stuff around, but never had to resort to that kinda thing.
