Slogdump.txt

Ok, i have a problem. whenever i open Internet explorer an infinite number of windows with the text "can't find "file:///c:/windows/slogdump.txt" pops up. they keep popping up and slow my pc until it's unable to do anything... any ideas?

ok... i imagined i was going to be flamed. I normally use firefox, but i need IE for things like booking my exams. in fact my firefox run flawlessly, and it's just IE that's giving me this problem. How can i fix it without reformatting?
