My internet keeps disconecting every so often and I have no idea why. I've checked for spyware and viruses. There are none. My internet provider says that my signal is very high and there are no disconections on their end. Am I not able to scan something that could be attacking my computer? Should I just simply reformat?

If You use cable internet:
reduce the amount of coaxial cable from the wall to your computer. try to avoid legnths of more than 25 feet. try not to split the internet cable more than once. use ethernet cable to span the rest of the way to your computer.
if you use DSL:
...er...this happens to me once in a while, too. i have no real solution except power-cycle your dsl router. it usually works for me.
