This laptop i bought on an impulse buy. :(
longURL is loooong.....auction number is #250048447640.

its got a 8.9" screen, and although a larger screen would be nice, i opted for this one because of its small size. Built-in wireless and a integrated fingerprint reader are a plus. other than that, its not much more than a really, really tiny laptop. (2.2lbs, or about 1.0kg according to laptopmag.com) ...wait...1kg? that cant be right...thats not including the battery, right?

MSRP is 1599, google puts the thing at 1200-1500USD, i paid 1017 after shipping and tax.

and best of all, finger-sensitive touchscreen! no more losing that goddamn expensive tablet pen!!!

i may not be proud of my willpower (or lack of), but my laptop says "yeah, its tiny. so what?!"

im happy either way, so tell me if i failed for buying this lilliputian laptop. i'll post again once i actually have the thing in my hands. will it satisfy my need for portable weeaboo faggotry? will i drop to the ground in a mounrful VERY NO?!?! stay tuned! :)

>>6, i have access to PC-Check through work, and it does an admirable job testing memory, HDD, and other parts of units.

i probobly will gripe at the little eraser-nub more than the keyboard. over the years, i got good at using the touchpad. :) ive used mini laptops before, and my typing style usually allows for a lot of looking at the keypad, so i dont miss keys as often. i did see an extended warranty, but sadly, the amount of money i have is finite and that would have put me over-budget. (frankly, i wanted to spend 800-900 max. i went over already)
I was debating seeing if i can get an insurance plan (like allstate) so if it does break, i can drop it out the window, pay the deductable, and get a check for its value. but that comes later, after i read the applicable fine-print.

gosh, helpful responses... its like im not on 4chan anymore. its a little scary.
