Toshba touchpad

I've got a relatively new Toshiba A105 laptop, and when the corners of the touchpad are used, it either:
a: restores/maximizes the window
b: minimizes the window
c: opens the start menu
d: opens the File menu of the window
It's just getting on my nerves a bit, and I'm wondering what causes it.

The control panel and/or notification area should have an icon for the touch pad which will open the configuration window, allowing you to turn on and off these features.
