I've been having some weird issues with my cable internet connection lately. The past two days I've tried using the Internet, but after some time (anywhere from five minutes to nearly an hour), the connection seemingly shuts down despite the fact that the modem looks like it's accepting the connection. I unplugged the USB cable for a few minutes (until the computer recognized that the modem was no longer connected) then plugged it back in, and the connection would automagically be fixed.
