AGP voltage compatibility

Hello. I have and old gf4 mx440 8x agp card that i'll try to install into a motherboard that has an agp 4x/8x 1.5v slot. As far as i know, these kind of cards run on 0.8v, so will it work, or will it burn in hell ?

as long as it will fit in it should be fine, if the slot isnt meant to hold future cards the connecto pins would not line up.
