rio mp3 player not working

it keeps saying insuficient space to index your content yet i have 1 song on there it also said it when i had all my track on it idk wtf it wrong with it its a rio ce2100 so please i need help

i tryed the site came up with nothing and this don't answer me i have nothing on the rio at all then add 1 song and it says this so idk wtf is up with it n idk how to format it if i do that thru windows it might fuck it up

the good damn thing won't let me format it so how the fuck do i fucking fix it

is there a button or option or switch that "locks" the drive. maybe thats preventing you from formating it. If thats not the case, try Call Customer Care

try to update firmware
if no updated firmware, reflash old firmware
may solve problem

ok thank u guys i got it fixed took me long enough but i finaly figured how to reformat it just reformat it thru windows so thx again guys n next time i won't buy a rio
