So I've got an extended warranty on my ipod mini, and I want a new shuffle for snowboarding. How can I jury rig something to create a plausible reason for it to break, for example a power surge?

It's an older mini, aka not even a colored screen on that bitch. I could sell it on ebay yes, but if I did I wouldn't get back the $186 I originally paid for it in the convenient form of a gift card, and my warranty doesn't cover accidental.

whats wrong with an iPod mini when snowboarding? Its in your pocket anyways, so who gives a feck it ain't got color-screen? And the mini ain't that big that it's going to be a problem to have it in a pocket...
