A DVD drive costs under $12. A DVD multi-writer under $25. If you can afford a computer capable of running Vista, I'd think you could afford a DVD drive as well. If it's a laptop or some other non-replaceable drive, an external drive isn't much more.

I just need an answer. Will Vista be released with CDs?

no

That'd be at least four, maybe five or six CDs after you factor in the system files on each disk. Not worth it for them. So no.

Why do you want that Vista piece of shit? You're gonna get raped with all the DRM AIDS, and you need one whole GB of RAM and a high-end graphics card just to run it (don't talk about "efficiently"). Vista is a piece of shit, and no, transparencies and shit are not nice after using them for 5 minutes.

I think you should not upgrade to Vista.
A slightly less drastic answer would be: I also think you should not upgrade to Vista until at least 6-18 months have passed.

I think you should not upgrade to Vist-duh until at least 6-18 thousand million years have passed and we exist no more.
