Looking for a new browser

Hi /comp/
I've been using Avant browser for a long time now, which is basically a shell for IE, and my friends tell me I shouldn't use IE for some reason, despite not having a single problem with it -_-
Anyway, which browser would you recommend, if I mainly browse forums and 4chan and check emails? I've tossed it up between Firefox and Opera, which one do you guys use and what are the pros and cons of each?

Opera does have one main advantage ("main" as in "I fkin WANT that!"):

It logs the position and history of all windows separately (until u close them yourself), so if the browser crashes ("Whaddayamean 'if'?!?") then the next time you start, u can go on from there...

...rather than take forever trying to find some of them in the history log (since those sites are sorted alphabetically, or at best by time opened...), like some other browsers...

Lemme see Firefox do that, and I can stop using Opera.
