iTunes constantly resetting my playlists.

Yes, I own an iPod, lemme just get that over with now.  It's a 30 Gig Video model with the V1.2 firmware.  This was never a problem before, at least as far as I can remember, and I've had it for over a year now.  My iPod is always set to be updated manually, so this really shouldn't be happening.

Thing is, whenever I plug my iPod into its USB charger, even without opening iTunes, the My Top Rated, Recently Played, and Top 25 Most Played playlists are completley reset to be exactly how they were two weeks ago.  It's really weird, and kind of annoying since I've tried just about all I can think of to stop it from doing this.  I need help, 4chan :(
