KDE/X keyboard mapping

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-16 11:04

Hi, I don't like the default keyboard mapping in my Lunix, so I'd like to change it. I don't know if it's particular to KDE (desktop and window manager I'm using), or the whole X, and I'd also gladly customize my character mode terminals. How do I modified it/them? (Not asking for a tutorial, just the file name so I can man or Google it, because I don't know where to start.)

P.S.: Just to speed things up: I already tried www.opera.com, and I'm already using Lunix (I know it's Linux). There's no \WINNT\System32 directory to delete, no Internet Explorer to stop using, and no C: to format (even though it wouldn't erase my data). And no, I don't think I'm worthy of a Mac, I'm asking for man pages and wanting to do things for myself.

Oh, and if you're weeaboo and want to be able to type in Japanese, you'll need to install a kanji dictionary and will probably want to look into SCIM.
