anyone ever seen it when the windows task bar just vanishes (im not talking about it just auto-hiding) it leaves my icons leave and my windows key will not bring up the start menu. i can still work with apps that were open and can start apps from the task manager. anyone know a fix?

explorer crash
it should restart automagically, but you could do it manually if it doesn't work

ctrl+ald+del or ctrl+shift+esc
Opens up task manager
Hit File : New Task
Enter "explorer" and hit enter

because DVD-Lab Pro 2.1 kills the F.cking explorer everytime i start it up ... (but is nonetheless the best DVD-Authoring tool i ever used)

reopening doesn't always restore all symbols in the taskbar, which might be annoying. i usually just log off and on again if i'm not doing shit (like downloading stuff).

Yes but then insted of simpley restarting the exploer he woul dhave to read a man page to tell him to reload the moduel that contains the man pages that might tell him to go fuck him self cuz he needs to sacrafice a goat to see any icons.
