Save Explorer settings

Sup /comp/. So my Windows is all fucked up and won't save its settings on reboot. Mainly the taskbar position and the quick launch bar, it always comes at the top of the screen even if I take it down.

I've already tried the "Save explorer settings on exit" registry hacks, but no go. Any halp?
