Dissapearing Bookmark Toolbar

My bookmark tab suddenly stopped working a few months back god knows why, i didnt change anything it just shows up as an empty bar, When i run it in safe mode the boookmarks show up but not when i run it in normal mode. Does anyone know anything about how to fix this?. My mate was telling me he had the same problem a while back so i figure it might be a usual problem, Anyone know how to fix it?

Im using firefox, Copy pasted that from the firefox 2.0 thread when i forgot about the no support threads rule in /g/

Since most of the people on the board are complete dicks, Heres what you need to do, Close Firefox completely and open firefox is safe mode.
Start/All Programs/Mozilla Firefox/Safe-mode
Then a box will pop up with a couple of actions, Select the option "Reset toolbars and controls" and choose "Make Changes and Restart".

Firefox will now open again and you Bookmarks should be back.
