Vista rc1 doesnt detect ethernet adapter

read above. i installed rc1 on my logical drive due to my primary being full and i cant connect to the net because rc1 doesnt detect my nic (from my mobo) and thus doesnt detect my adsl modem.

anyone got any way around this? ive got a asusp4p800 motherboard (very common) if u must know. sorry to repost , but it seems my thread was deleted before i can c the replies.
