Large files getting corrupted for no reason

I've noticed how big rar archives and even ISOs are getting corrupted in my PC, especially when moving them from one partition to another. It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes when I move large rar archives from one partition to another, it can't unzip anymore and I'd have to run it through Azureus again, where it would say it's only 99% complete, even though it was 100% complete before I moved it.

It can't be the hard drive as I've bought two already(and both had the same problem). What's causing it? Could it be a hardware problem?
