I'll start this OPERAlog which I'll be updating every time I'm forced to do something with OPERA and find the experience sucks. I don't use OPERA when I need to do serious web browsing, but sometimes I need to use my laptop where I can't use Safari since its processor can't run a Hackintosh. Note: I won't list each annoyance more than once, even if it annoys the hell out of me every day in my life.
Using Opera 9.02
- When you click on a torrent link, Opera wants to download it with its built-in client. However, it sucks dicks for most serious torrents - you can't choose which files you want for starters.
That wouldn't be a problem if the fucker didn't force you to use it. You have to right-click-save-as if you want the torrent to actually be saved to the HD so I can send it to a real client. Why the fuck can't I set it up so that I can shell-open torrent files from Opera?
(BTW, ripping off threads ftw)
