Need to format C:

I can't figure out how to format my C: drive on windows XP, cmd won't do it for some reason and I don't have a floppy drive to make a DOS boot disk. any help?

I just downloaded Firefix 1.5.0.7, and as a result, some web sites are showing up rather oddly. I think I had a slightly older version of 1.5, as it looks the same as the one I'm using now. Does anyone know what the version released before the most recent version of Firefox was, and where I could obtain it?

Why? If you're installing windows or any OS for that matter it'll ask you if you want to format it.

 I'm installing WinXP Borg edition, it tells me to format my hard drive before installing or it won't work. I can try getting it to format from the OS DVD but I'm not sure it will.
