IP Address

Godammit, I really hate to be a bitch, but I had a problem concerning an IP address problem some days ago and now it's back. For some reason I can browse the internet and play Live with no problem and then all of a sudden I'll want to play Live and when I try to connect I get a message on my computer that says there is an IP address conflict with another systme on the network. I tried changing the IP address on the Xbox but it doesn't work. I do understand the my router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 and my computer's IP is set to 192.168.100, static, for port forwarding. Last time this happend I have no idea how it got fixed since my Xbox got the settings automatically and I can't see what IP address it was using. Fuck this is frustrating. Help.

It's not your internal IPs what people see. People see the IPs your ISP gives you, i.e. the one the router routes to and from to provide Internet access. That's what changing.
