Grabbing pieces from torrents

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-21 1:09

I'm using Torrentstorm, and as you may know, it has a feature which allows you to only download certain files within a given torrent.  However, when said files I choose reach 100% in the files view, I go to check them out and they don't work.  In fact, often times the files I chose to download will not actually work unless I go back and download the entire goddamn torrent, which defeats the purpose of selecting files.  Why is this, and is there some way to fix it?  Or is it a Torrentstorm bug?  Hold off on the "get a better client" suggestions for now, btw, and just answer the question please.  This is as much about curiosity as to why this happens, as it is about getting it fixed.

Probably a Torrentstorm bug; I've never even heard of this client.

Use Azureus. It has this feature and it actually works.

Don't change these.
