Hey 4chan, Im at college and apparently behind some gay firewall. iTunes Store and Limewire seem to work perfectly fine however I would like to be able to use bitTorrent and have had zero luck so far. Nothing downloads or uploads. Any ideas?

If Im on a college network how can I change ports or find which ones are open?

i dont think there is a way. if you're trying to download animu or whatever, there are sites out there that will let you download unliscensed anime from their ftp server for $5 a month (or something around that).

Damn well that sucks, I was actually more interested in getting albums and movies as I haven't watched anime in nearly 2 years.

If torrents don't work are there any other programs out there that work behind firewalls. So far I've only had luck with Limewire

BT works no matter what port you set it on, so look in the advanced menu to see if you can change it. That means if they have just blocked specific common ports you could use a different one.

Well, you said limewire works, right? Use its port. Or just use something you know is open anyways like 25 or 80
