Multiple OSs

I have been using a live version of Kubuntu, just playing around with and stuff and I was wondering. If I install it will I still then be able to run windows xp or do I have to do something else. And this is without running a virtual machine.

Also will it screw with my harddrive partitions?

Lurk moar. Once you know about partitions and boot managers, then come back and try dual booting.

Should I just research the kubuntu boot manager more? Something with a g.
