Help, computer no longer boots widnows..

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-06 1:23

Today I got an unspecified system error randomly while watching vids on youtube, it came up a good 3 or 4 times then popped up with a blue screen telling me windows had shut down to prevent hardware damage or whatever, now I cannot get windows to boot at all, and I keep getting random errors including "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" I thought it was just windows fucking around so I tried to re-install it with no luck, this is the only error I have written down:
STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF8000117F83B, 0xFFFFFFADFF260F6E0, 0xFFFFFADFF260F0F0)
It recommends I "Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing." and also tells me to try a different video adapter. (which I currently can't find..
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in Advance.

"IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"
Is the most vague error message a windows user can ever get.

In a nutshell its basicly a kernel mode process or driver trying to access a location in memory that it doesnt have the permissions to access.
See a kernel mode process can only access other processes with an interupt request level (IRQL) lower than or equal to its own.

The error points to it being either a hardware, software or firmware incompatibility.

The usefull part of the message is the hex spew that always acompanies.

Whenever ive had a 7E error its ALWAYS been VGA related, either my cards have been fux0rd or the drivers typicaly shit.

Ive seen more than my fair share of IRQL errors in my time.
It totaly sucks when i get a hex string ive never encountered before cause troubleshooting them is a fucking nightmare.
