emachines, lol.

I doubt anybody remembers, but a while back I posted a topic about how my keyboard "wasn't found" when I'd boot my pc (luckily, ubuntu worked though) but I eventually had to send it in to emachines to replace the motherboard/fix the dvd drive (eject button didn't work)

I got it back about a week and a half later, set it up for my younger sister (reverted back to windows) installed all the crap so that she could access the internet and the external hard drive... then I tried playing an episode of one peice for her and I realized something, there was no fucking soundcard. 

So, I called emachines tech support up and kindly asked what the fuck kind of stupid ass twats they have fixing the pc's that fix problems and create more.  The woman ignored me, and asked me for my home phone number, name, the serial number, then put me on hold.  After about 5 more minutes of being on hold, she asked me what my problem was, so I told her I didn't have a sound card.  She asked me to delete some shit and reboot then wait as it was reinstalled, but of course that didn't help because there was no fucking sound card.  Then she put me on hold again to go talk to a superior to help her figure out my problem (which I clearly told her was the fact that they shipped me back my pc, minus one sound card) then finally she told me I was going to have to send it to emachines again.

Basically what I'm getting at is emachines is terrible.  The end.

Thats odd, most emachines have the sound card built into the motherboard. Yours has (or in this case, HAD) a seperate sound card in one of the PCI slots?

That's what you get for not building your own PC, then acting like a douchebag when you call the company you had build it.  EVERYONE SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT PROBLEMS YOU HAD IN THE PAST LOL.
