broadcasting wifi without router

is it possible to use my wireless internet card (Broadcom b/g) to broadcast wifi signal? i know i can pick up signal, but can i make my own hotspot, so to speak, if i am connected via cable to the internet?

i want to create a wireless hotspot for my DS, as my university's wifi blocks the DS MAC address 8(

ad hoc + ICS unless your univ blocks your wired NIC's MAC addy, too, in which case your screwed.
